Historic Wentworth is a small riverina town nestled in the junction of the Darling and Murray rivers, close to the NSW, Victorian border.

The rivers can be explored from here either by houseboat or on a Paddle Steamer Cruise.

In former days the town was a busteling river boat port and the legacy has left much to see of historical interest.

The Mighty Murray River

Hay is located by the Murrumbidgee River on some of the flattest plains in Australia.

The area is predominantly agricultural, famed for its merino sheep, lamb , beef and even emu production.

Examples include the Witcombe Fountain, Hay Court House, Bishop's Lodge and Hay Gaol Museum.

The Murrumbidgee River offers a variety of water sports as well as being a pleasant place to walk or take a picnic.
