RSL and League Clubs are an Australian institution. RSL stands for Retired Service Leagues and were originally set up to cater for the retired military perssonell. Now they offer membership to a wider clientele and usually have a variety of bars, restaurants and casino type areas. They are usually excellent value and welcome visitors. There are usual minimal dress code and behaviour requirements. League Clubs were set up to support a Rugby league club and offer similar facillities to RSL clubs.
Safety Pins and Keys
There's nothing worse than loosing your keys on the beach. To avoid asking everyone to comb the area on their hands and knees use a safety pin to secure your keys to your clothes.
