The Barossa Valley is an acclaimed wine making region with rolling hills and picturesque villages. South Australia is as a wonderful location for whale watching, the whales moving through the state's coastal waters during their migration season. An interesting drive through the rugged Outback takes you to Coober Pedy, a unique community where some of the residents live in homes carved beneath the ground.
