Queensland
Heritage Cottage. Fully restored using all the
original building materials - Set in the Whitsunday Islands, it evokes a bygone era yet has all modern conviences.
Set on 6 acres of landscaped
gardens and rainforest this is truly a tranquil holiday with a
difference. Sit on the verandah and watch the Wallabies nibble the
fresh green lawn while the abundant bird life flock to the dam as part of their
daily ritual. Go bushwalking and follow a path through the
wild Guavas and Rainforest winding up behind the Cottage. Cane Cutters Cottage features
one bedroom with a double antique brass bed & timber amoire with
a view of the gardens. The beautifully restored kitchen comes
complete with dining table, a treasure from North Queensland. A
modern twist on the olden day bathroom makes showering a unique
experience. The delightful lounge room has a TV and
leads onto the verandah. Polished floor boards have a patina
from another era and finish off the restoration beautifully.
