About Perth, W.A

WA MAP ABOUT HOTELS CAMPING RESTAURANTS

Perth is the capital of the west and isolated from the rest of the major population centres in the south and east of Australia by several thousand miles. Such is the vastness of the country that Sydney is several time zones ahead. Approximately on the same latitude as Sydney, Perth also shares a similar waterside location. The Swan River exits to the sea at Freemantle, but further inland it widens to form the expanses of Melville Water and Perth Water on which the city centre is built. Visitors are usually delighted by Perth and leave feeling slightly envious of its cleanliness and of the life style it affords its habitants. It has a wonderful southern European like climate, excellent dining, a modern central business district surrounded by beautiful parks and paths which skirt the Swan River and to cap it off perfect Indian Ocean beaches just a short drive away. If this isn't enough there is the famous Swan Valley wine region, the Darling Range mountains, Dolphin watching and any water borne activity you can dream of .
