Straddling the Epping Road, Beecroft is a good example of one of the 'North Shores' well established and leafy residential suburbs. The quaint, almost village like centre has all the amenities including several cafes and restaurants and is also conveniently close to the railway station. Here you will find houses literally nestled among the trees and because of the tranquility and natural beauty it is sometimes difficult to appreciate that Beecroft is only forty minutes from the Sydney CBD along the Epping Road. This is not a tourist centre but it does border the Lane Cove National Park, which provides good bush walking through interesting terrain which is home for many colourful native birds. Beecroft straddles the Beecroft Road and is close to the other suburbs of Pennant Hills, Cheltenham, Epping and Thornleigh.
