The small town of Southport is situated on the south coast, 50 miles south of Hobart. A wildlife sanctuary, a thermal pool, a historic railway and Hastings Caves are within easy reach. In addition there are plenty of opportunities for fishing, sailing and walking. The town is just about the most southerly on the Australian continent.
