Adelaide River is a small
town, with a population of a few hundred, 70 miles south of Darwin. To the
north of the town is the Adelaide River Australian Military Cemetery dedicated
to the lives lost in the Second World War. To the west is the pretty Lichfield
National Park with its waterfalls, unique rock formations and the precisely
sited termite mounds. The Adelaide River flows and divides in two near the
