Renmark Overview

Renmark is situated on a bend of the Murray River which has been partially diverted into irrigation systems to nourish the local fruit, wine and dairy farms.

The Murray River provides the opportunity to board stately paddle steamers for long or short cruises along the river.

If you prefer to take control, you can hire a house boat and stop where you wish and for as long as you want.

Alternatively, take a tour by car and view the extent and intricacies of the irrigation schemes as they provide 'life-giving water' to the surrounding countryside.

There are several reserves, gardens, wineries and National Parks in the area.
