Goondiwindi Overview
Goondiwindi is situated on the Queensland bank of the Macintyre River which also forms the border with New South Wales from Mungindi to Tweed Heads.
The tree-lined river is a delightful attraction providing walks, viewing and picnic spots.
Goondiwindi is a southern town within the Darling Downs region of South Eastern Queensland some 200 miles west of Brisbane.

There is a good variety of accommodation of all standards. Since Goondiwindi is at the junction of the Newall, Bruxner, Cunningham, Barwon and Leichardt Highways it makes an ideal place to stop.
The town is 360 kms west of Brisbane and 730 Km north of Sydney.
