Campbell Town is 75 miles north of Hobart and 40 miles south of Launceston. This quaint historic town has many heritage status properties, some of which have been converted to excellent, and in some cases luxurious, tourist accommodation. Apart from tourism the town is a centre for wool, beef and timber production. Campbell Town has a good selection of activities including a golf course, trout fishing in the local rivers, and tennis courts.
